offersheeting is risky in the nhl as the other gms may blacklist/not want to do business with the one who offersheets. also, im not sure many team value laf that high right now so im not too sure. doesnt seem like hes leaving new york

kane is missing the first 2 months of the season and seems to be that he is likely returning to new york. he would only be able to return on a small contract and this is what it seems like to me. my opinion tho so its just my pov
