Just thought I would make this thread to talk about the crunch periodically throughout the season. Season opener was tonight and I thought they played decent overall. The powerplay had a very hard time gaining entry but the PK was solid. Im not really sure why they have the lines they way they do but groshev should definitely be getting more ice time than he did. Goncalves was the standout for me in the game tonight as he looked confident with the puck although he did have a few missed passes just like everyone else. Thompson was solid defensively but his breakout passes to start the powerplays were not hitting, I wish he would just skate it in the zone, he has the speed. Other than that Usau had a good start to the game and lilleberg was very good defensively. Edmonds got his mandatory goal against Utica and Kochetkov was good in goal besides two times where he got scrambly and left the crease leading to them scoring.
