Well it was Karlsson but he’s gone so I couldn’t really think of anyone else. He’s a member of the 2014 Olympic squad and he was part of the trade that brought us Kiprusoff, so that’s why I like him slightly more than the rest.

The dude was the top Defensive Shut down guy for over a decade, (2006-2019) but has been on decline the last few years! So I can see the appeal.

That Flames-Sharks trade was definitely one of the best win-win trades in league history

You guys badly needed a goalie and we had Nabby! We got a premier D (but to be fair by luck of the draft)
had we drafted the guy before Vlasic or after this trade would look like a dud.

Kipper is the best goalie the Flames have ever had, and Nabby was insane for the Sharks too. Definitely a good situation on both teams there
