They beat Nashville and Calgary. Two of the worst teams in the league. They're getting outscored 18-44 in their other games. 1/7 of the season is already over, they'll need to go on one hell of a tear to make the playoffs at this point. They have a bottom 5 defense. Statistically, Atlantic > Metro > Pacific > Central. And Pacific/Central are damn near equal. Pacific has 3 of 5 worst teams in the league. That alone negates any argument you might have about it being the best division. Vegas and Van are just feasting on free points against the dumpster fires teams in their division.
