In years past the Rangers have had multiple positions of need and made numerous trades. To me the only true need we have is a RW1. Duclair 50% retained for a 2nd and C+ prospect is fair for both sides.

Duclair slides in at RW1 to play with Kreider and Zibanejad. Duclairs speed, great 5v5 assist track record, and hot and cold shot should fit in nicely.

When Chytil comes back I wouldn’t touch the second line. There’s no reason to keep Panarin-Trocheck-Lafrienerre

Chytil slots in as the 3C and that’s a huge boost for Cuylle. Cuylle had very solid numbers prior to playing with Bonino. Kakko slots in as the RW3 and his 5v5 play driving and great defensive play makes this line a kind of Swiss Army knife for Lavliotte.

The 4th line of Vesey-Goodrow-Pitlick has been awesome

They play 6:15 a night as a line at 5v5 and average less than 1 HDCA (.93 a game). Their best game was shutting down the Marchand / Pasta line. Brodzinski becomes the 13F, for now I leave Pitlick I love his speed and physicality but Brodzinski’s speed and offense can bring a different dimension.
