Explain why CGY trades Andersson? It doesn't make sense to ATM

I agree it’s doubtful CGY trades Andersson,
but that’s a hell of an offer- probably too good of an offer tbh

Looks like a solid offer for Rasmus Andersson, But there's no reason for Calgary to trade him right now.

Way too much term and AAV for a 34 year old Christopher Tanev. besdies he'll be traded to a playoff team and re-signed. And that team for obvious reasons isn't Buffalo.

I'd consider without us trading the 2nd. Could be trading back a few picks which isn't quite worth it IMO. If BUF I'd good(which I would expect with the team above) and CGY is bad(which I would expect with current team) BUF could be late 20's(maybe even early 30's, while CGY would be early to late 30's, trading back even a couple picks doesn't make sense
