Good deal for the Flames. We don't really have a spot for Robertson though.

Oh? Tell me who else we're moving out? Hubey isn't going anywhere, zary is in talks for the Calder, and we just got pelletier back. That leaves the 4th line spot for Robertson and he's not a fit there.

if the flames are taring down at the deadline a guy like robertson might step in, if not, he can slide Down to the AHL

but if a trade like this one happened, Kuzmenko could go to the right and you can slide robertson in on the third for a Hubey zary robbie peltier LW

and something like Kuzmenko Mangiapane schwint a pospisil on the RW sharangovich can be the second or third centre

just hypothetical

He's still waiver exempt? Seems like he's been around for ever.
Anyways we've got kuzmenko, pospisil, klapka and coronato to play RW. Mangiapane can play either side. The Flames just don't need any winger prospects for the time being. Like I said I just don't see a fit. Flames need centre prospects and NHL ready LD. That being said I'd still be happy with the return.

I don't think we'd have any interest either. And even though he's a lefty he's played RD his whole career. Pretty sure the flames would be looking for a younger player.

he is now, there were running

rielly mccabe
brodie liljegren
lagesson benoit

for a bit

and he was playing really well

now they are running

rielly brodie
benoit mccabe
gio liljegren

brodie is gone back to playing Mid, but having two left shot D playing the right in the top 4 is really hurting them

I liked Brodie when we had him, he just went out there and did his job quietly and you never heard his name unless he made a bad pinch or terrible give away that led to a goal against. Those were few and far between though. Like I said earlier I don't get to watch a lot of leaf games, but it sounds like it's happening a lot more frequently now.

yeah it is, its not his fault though because he is being forced into a roll he cant play, hes a bottom 4 D man, not a top pair. when hes on the second pair hes great

It’s probably fair but I’d probably ask for more. Robertson doesn’t do much for me
