Why would you rather have hanafin (a guy willing to jump ship on multiple teams) over lindgren (a guy who is a heart and soul player)

Hanifin is good at hockey. Lindgren is not as good at hockey. Hanifin will age better than lindgren and probably only cost $2-3 more million a year. A ton of reasons i would take hanifin over lindgren going forward

When you say "good at hockey" you just mean points right? Because I get lindy doesn't get points but he plays the game a lot more defensively than hanafin

Lindgren really isnt much better than Hanifin defensively. If hes better at all. And hanifin is miles ahead of lindgren offensively and in transition. Hanifin is actually much better than lindgren

Like 70% of othmann’s AHL points are from the powerplay meanwhile majority of Berard’s points are from 5v5

NYR fans are drooling over othmann yet still complain about no one scoring at 5v5 when they don’t know anything about Berard

Well apparently he’s played like the last 5 games at RW, so I think the organization is well aware that the team needs right wingers. As for othmann, It wouldn’t hurt for him to spend another year in the AHL and work on his 5v5 game. We already know he has a lethal shot on the powerplay, but he isn’t gonna be on PP1 with the rangers

Berard has been playing RW the whole time in the AHL, but the last 5 games othmann and Berard switched so othmann is getting some games at RW

Berard-Belzile-Othmann is the starting top line tonight FYI, so sticking with othmann as RW
