The Flyers will trade him if they get what they want. The price is a 1st or a 2nd and a good prospect. Their are plenty of teams interested that can offer much more than Toronto. If you want to sign him as a UFA go for it, apparently he wants $5-5.5m per season on a 4 to 5 year deal!

Rather overpay in free agency than overpay at the trade deadline.

Oilers for sure. Stars yes. Lightning already have 3 RHD so no. Jets have 7 nhl defencemen already and two legitimate top 4 d on the right side, so no. Devils arent even in the playoffs right now, dont have a goalie, and are still too early on in their rebuild to be paying 1st or 2nds for rentals. Where are you getting “atleast” lol ? As if teams are lining up to give away future impact players for a mid rental.

On Twitter, one of the Flyers writers posted which clubs sent scouts. You can talk all you want, but Philly doesn't have to move him and they won't "take whatever we can get". The Stars, Oilers and Leafs have been linked to both Flyers defenseman. The Flyers have been scouting the Jets AHL team extensively, so who are the Jets interested in on the Flyers if not Walker? Leafs fans need to realize that if you actually want to trade for someone you have to give something up. And on a team that got destroyed last night with NO RD, maybe you should start thinking it's time to actually pay up for a player that can help.
