Anderson = no deal, wrong 1st, wrong players

There's no chance that Kent Hughes gives his first rounder. And if he does, he will never gives a hugh asset with that. Look at his last trade : He traded Romanov for the 13th overrall and traded it for Dach. He traded his 31st and a second for Newhook. So whatever what Ducks want, he will never gives his first rounder.

Also, I don't see him trading : Mailloux, Hutson, Guhle and Reinbacher.

Also Anderson at 2.7M is a good vet, powerfoward to have in a team, especially with a young team.

Harris is a young D-man who can already play good minutes in the NHL, it is a fair asset.

And Mesar is a former first rounder who do really well in the OHL. Pretty good asset too.

So:
2 first rounds
A good vet to have on your team, to a decent salary
A young D-man already in the NHL who can only become better

This is a fair and square trade, especially when Zegras has not improved since 2021-22 and have a pretty bad season this year + his injuries, all that, after a miserable negotiation for the whole summer

I think we have to add a bit, but personnally I wouldn’t offer that. If Mesar become a solid two way 55 pts second liner, he will probably be better than Zegras
