Larsson isn't a rental.

You're paying a rental price which is still laughable.

Ronnie Francis hangs up.

I see larrsson with 2-3 good years left and offering kampf and Robertson for that didn't think it was unreasonable so I think that needs to be understood what kampf and Robertson have to offer specifically Robertson

Larsson is one of the best shutdown RD in the NHL.

He's only 31 years old.

Your offer would be blown out of the water by 30 other teams.

I haven't heard anything about Francis wanting to even trade him.

It's Leafs fans living in Fantasy land.

I don't love it because it really crushes our bottom 6 depth. Ideally moving Brodie off the books for a pick somewhere and then trading a 1st + for Larsson would be the best path for the Leafs. If a forward is moved I'd want Wennberg back with retention if we added some more picks/prospects to the deal. Robertson is cheap and talented middle 6 and Kampf was one of our better competitors in the playoffs last season.

I wouldn't go so far as to say one of the best shutdown D men in the game considering he didn't get a single Norris trophy vote last year. He's very good, don't get me wrong but that's a bit of a stretch.

And of course it's fantasy land here, that's literally what this entire AGM thing is lol. Also, just because someone hasn't publicly stated their intent to trade or take offers on a player doesn't mean it won't happen. It happens all the time at the deadline when a surprise move is made. It's not a "Leaf fan fantasy land" thing to speculate on players that would fit the roster, every fan base does it.

Chill bro, it's not that serious smile
