Not sure why the Devils would make that trade. They aren't going to give up draft capital for those guys.

I mean I still don't understand why the devils are paying to take on your bad contracts. They'd just keep their draft picks. They aren't going to make the playoffs this year, so it'd be better to just save the draft capital for this offseason.

In what way are they bad contracts?, Brodie at 2.5 is still a solid d-man & Jones is better than anything you have rn
