I really don't hate this.

People may be frustrated that Drury didn't get a legit top RWer but:
-we did have a need for a center, with Chytil out. Both Wennberg and Roslovic can play center, so that fixes that major need.
-last season, Drury made not one but two flashy moves that didn't accomplish anything due to a variety of factors. This season, he seems to have gone for smaller, less flashy moves but moves that may very well pay.
-Roslovic scored 22 goals in 21-22, that's just two seasons ago. Sure he has not had a good season so far but almost every Blue Jacket this season has been bad and if he can get close to where he was in 21-22 he'll at least be a solid middle sixer.
-Laviolette is a more structured coach than Gallant. The team is playing better team defense this season, which should get even better with the addition of Wennberg. Plus, there are always some injuries to the defense in the playoffs, and Ruwhedel can be a solid number 6. So again, I don't hate these moves at all.

i feel like drury went down the path he did at the 2021-22 season TDL and he did it again this yr with seeing the success we had in the 21-22 playoffs vs last playoffs....hopefully this follows 21-22

And even then he didn't spend at much as he did in 21-22.
