Id say its very unlikely that this is how the roster will look next season. If the Canes want to keep Jarvis Necas and Guentzel, I think some sort of trade would have to be made.

With an 8 year deal not costing much more that Bridge, it would be bad business not to go 8 years. A bridge, 2 year preferably, is only beneficial if it’s saving us serious cap money

This could very well be what happens, although is KK really going to move to winger. I see Staal moving to wing instead.

Its honestly up in the air. KK has played games on the wing this season, so im really not sure. Just throwing stuff out there

I thought the majority of recent bridge deals have been 3 years, but im probably wrong.

What do you think is the cheapest bridge you could see Jarvis getting?

A three year bridge is a risk because the RFA could refuse to extend, use arbitration once, and walk right into FA.

A 2 year bridge is likely around 4 million.

Hmmm idk what id rather have in this scenario (bridge or longterm). Canes have got quite the task, when Slavin and Burns contracts run out after next season.
