There is no chance pens make that trade lol.
Two overpaid 4th liners, an ahl defenseman, and a 5' 9" third liner does not get you a top shutdown dman, a top shutdown center, and a high energy top 9 forward, all on great deals.

I know right? Who on earth comes up with these ridiculous leafs trades? They seem to think every team in the NHL just works to help the leafs be better

Besides the fact that this deal is actually not as bad as you're making it out to be, Dubas LOVES these guys and would probably do this in a heartbeat!

The rent free thing always cracks me up lol.
I have seen my favorite team win the cup 5 times in my lifetime. I went to every pens home playoff game in 2016 and 2017. I got to be in the arena for my two favorite teams go at it in the 2016 cup final. I watched Kunitz score one of the biggest goals in franchise history in game 7 double OT against Ottawa.
There is no team living rent free in my head

As a sports fan I appreciate what the Pens have done especially watching Mario - IMO the best to ever lace em'.

One of the coolest things ever (even though the pens were terrible) was sids first season. Sid and Mario on the ice at the same time. It only lasted 26 games but I am sure it had a massive impact on sids career. So many people forget the two even got to play nhl hockey together. Its truly sad seeing how far the pens have fallen off lol but good to see other teams getting their turn.
I'm sure most Americans would disagree with me but I hope we see a Canadian team win again soon. It's better for the game to spread that around
