Description

A few notes:
- I see KH looking to add talent up front both through the draft, and with our youth on the back end. Barron is currently a tweener with a high draft pedigree who is likely not highly valued around the league. Pens don't have any depth on RD and Letang and Karlsson are aging, so he could fit in on their opening day roster. Crosby has said good things about Barron - a fellow NS born player on multiple occasions. He still has upside if he can figure out defensive zone coverage. Winnipeg pick is likely 20-25 range.
- Mantha if he accepts a short-term deal could be a nice fit on a line with Dach as the trigger man.
- Expect Price to be on the opening day roster so they don't need to go into off-season LTIR and can accrue cap space throughout the year.
- Xhekaj gets the Jordan Harris deal
- Hutson likely to sign a 3-year deal and get 2-3 games in the NHL this year
- I expect Reinbacher/Mailloux/Hutson to start in the AHL next year, with one of DR or LM called up if there are injuries
- Armia/Dvorak likely trade deadline chips
- Gallagher/Anderson currently unmoveable
- unless they draft Celebrini I don't expect anyone else to make the team next season.

ya no, Yager has a shot to be the 3C next season and hes a much more valuable piece than a 3rd pairing dmen, Would much rather have St-Ivany a DFD be a 3rd RHD than another OFD
