Description

Goals:
Add one veteran top 9 F
Add 2 top 4 D
Get more physical, harder to play against
Improve defensive play at all positions

This post assumes Smith and Celebrini stay in college for 24-25

UFA's
I tried to find value, but be realistic. Top UFA's aren't going to sign here yet. Not even Matt Roy or Elias Lindholm. I picked UFA's who probably won't re-sign with their current teams, but would still improve the Sharks.

1. Gustafsson: Can quarterback the powerplay
2. Lafferty: Speed, compete, physicality
3. Dumba: Grit, leadership

If Thompson is ready for the NHL then the Sharks don't need to sign Gustafsson to run the powerplay. I don't think Addison worked out in that role.

I think both of them are wingers. Studnicka looks like he’s training to be 4C next year or replace sturms role if he gets traded.
