I think if you trade Marner, you do it for a D. Jensen is good but ideally, they trade for someone younger with lots of term. For those reasons, I think this would be a trade where they settle. I think the value is close!

I think if you take Kuemper out its a better deal for the Leafs...I dunno maybe something like Dowd and Kampf in the deal and its done...so hard to say...BUT my point is I like your Marner idea for the Caps, and especially for Marner.
