Detroit has tons of options, You'd have too offer AA around $4.5M to $5.0M for Detroit to take the picks and that comes out to a 1st+3rd round pick.

what is with the love for this guy? career highs of 18 goals and 29 points? 5 million?????

He is young, big, very fast, has good hands and has a scoring touch. What else do you want? He is still worth it for 5 mil. Brassard is older slower and not near the potential and Ottawa is already paying him 5 mil.

He is still worth the 1st and third. Detroit has no options now in their goalie situation they really want out of it and nobody is willing to help them.
