Yeah I don't know about Edler minding but playing with Weber and Price could change his mind. I think we give enouph (maybe a bit too much) but a first pairing D cost a lot.

It would be interesting to see what offers Vancouver could fetch for Edler if he decides to waive his NTC for the team similar to what Fleury did for Pittsburgh during the expansion draft

Edit: IMO Ottawa would probably be interested if they want to acquire a replacement for Methot or if they feel that they want prospects like Chabot to get seasoned in the AHL or ease into the NHL instead of playing big minutes from the get go or something along those lines

Scoring 18 with some couples assist was a great accomplishment for a rookie espicially one playing alongside Plekanec but if this combination stay together i fear the sophomore slurp year talk are coming our way ...
