Only thing I would want to change is Shinkaruk... I do agree he needs to be developed... Maybe my issue is with Janko at C of the 4th line - this is below him (IMO) and he would benefit more for another year of AHL top line minutes over NHL 4th line... We do have a bit of a log jam of NHL ready prospects... Say Shinkaruk starts with Backs... raises his stock for a mid season trade then Janko takes his spt... 4th line Can be split between Freddie (does well in the face-off circle) and Stajan? or Stajan - Freddie - Versteeg (for a few games?

Next, the d pairings... This is probably what our coach will do - as he is in love with Gio-Ham pairing - I personally HATE it as a pair of D men can only get so many shots of and giving the majority to Ham (as Gio is the better set up guy) is stupid - why - because Gio has a 7.9% shooting average and Ham's is 5.9 (still respectable for a d amn BUT.... not 7.9!). Thus IMHO the d pairs need to have TJ with Ham and Gio with either Ham2 (Hamonic) or Stone - who is the better set up guy for Gio and who would anchor the 3rd pair the best!

Finally Kulak - love the kid but - he didn't play a game in the playoffs for us last year - why - because he was beat out for a spot by Bartowski! Wasn't even give a shot in that last game where the coach rolled some dice!
