I like both of these... very doable as well as both St. Louis & Edmonton will (or should) finish near the top of reg season and thus these 1st rounders will be late 1st rounders. Everyone you are moving out except for Turgeon aren't in the long term plans

And why? would we be interested in Neuvirth for $2.5 million hen we can resign Coreau for less then $1 million to backup Howard, Neuvirth+2018 1st round pick SL for Mrazek+Nyquist+Turgeon Yeah no thanks if we package all 3 together we should get a far better deal then this. Neuvirth=Mrazek+Turgeon Nyquist=2018 1st round pick SL no way is that fair for Detroit.

They're not really in a position to call the shots anymore, Nyquist isn't as good as people think he is and you could always move Neuvirth in the offseason if need be plus if Turgeon was supposed to be there he'd be there already or at least knocking on the door which he isn't. Plus now you have money to lock down AA, Mantha and Larkin to long term deals.

Long term deals turn into waste of roster space like Ericson and Helm. AA is gone as soon s he reaches UFA and he has already shown what he's about with his little temper tantrum this summer.
