Oh.... You meant why would he want to go from the team that's won ONE playoff round in the last 25 years to a team that's won their division 3 out of the last 5 years?

Yeah, beats me!

Why would he go from a mediocre team to a team at the bottom of the Atlantic?

Classic Habs fan. Talk about how good Montreal USED to be and avoid how shitty they are now.

I didn't realize that LAST YEAR was so long ago. I guess it feels like an eternity when you are watching your team's pick out golf clubs in February

Are they a cup contender? No, not with the current roster. But I think they are a playoff team. And I think they'd instantly be a contender if they made this trade.

That goes for any team because he can make any team that much better. And if he has that ability. Why wouldn't he choose a team that's at the top. Like Tampa. That would be something to watch, man oh man. GMs need to be more aggressive nowadays and coaches need to actually play their best players on their top line. Just look at kucherov and stamkos, their two best players, playing, wow who could've known playing your top players together equals success. This is why there's so much power play scoring because that's where topnplayers play together.
