Adam Valentini Scouting Report

Adam continues to stand out as one of the top players in his age category.
Elite offensive talent. Sees the ice. Jumps to open space off the puck to open up seams for his team mates to outlet plays to him in stride. A threat off the rush. Ability to beat opponents 1vs1 via offensive zone entries with speed.
Playing LD on the PP speaks to his versatility and offensive acumen. Equal parts shooter / distributor in the role.
Average plus defensively. There are times he could 'lock onto' his man better ... but overall he's always in the area and rarely cheats defensively.
Outstanding in the face-off circle. Set plays can come off his stick via winning draws in all three zones.
Has a gear / can push the play aggressively when he sees opportunity.
Top line OHL in the near future.
Monitor shift length in relation to energy / consistent push throughout the entire game.
Future prospect who will be monitored closely, immediately, when he arrives in the OHL - by NHL scouts.
