Future dynasty of the nhl
It's a good team, hopefully this core can win a cup or two in the next ten years.
Also, I get that you may not watch the Devils too often.
Cus if you did you'd know that if Siegenthaler is traded for Boeser, Devils wouldn't be the team adding to the trade.

Seattle for cup next year
:laugh The johnny Gaudreau signing is the :laugh one $1,028,000 x 7 years for Gaudreau major typo there. More like $12,500,000 x 7 years for Gaudreau to sign with Seattle. And even then this is a bottom feeder not a cup team.

Is there any way to get below league average backup Jake Allen involved somehow? He's a premiere backup even though he hasn't been...
Edit: I'd skip Montreal and go straight for Vlasic in SJ!

So...
TOR: Matthews+1st+Robertson (Added Robertson this time because he's a massive bust so the Leafs should just get rid of his contract)
MTL: Petry+Dvorak+Weber
Can add retention on Matthews if that gets the deal done!!!!!!</div></div>
It's really tough to replace what Weber brings to that LTIR spot, but I think this is enough to get it done from MON's side.

2. In 2 years Vilardi will be 24,Kapari will be 24 and turrocette will be 23. At that point if they don't product they won't get much value from them</div></div>
Don't agree on Cernak. Look at guys like Anderson, Spence, and Durzi. They were all under the radar guys that turned into quality NHL defensemen in the Kings system. There's no reason why they couldn't do the same with Cernak. He was never given the chance.
The reason why guys like Vilardi, Kupari, and Turcotte still have value is because there is still a high probability that they will turn into quality players. There's no reason for the Kings to dump them now. They're contender window hasn't even opened yet. I'd much rather take a chance on them and have them fail than dump them and watch them turn into quality players elsewhere.

Kenny Holland once gave Justin Abdelkader a 7 year contract extension at 4.25 mil AAV. He once signed 32 year old Frans Nielsen for 6 years 5.25 mil AAV. Stephen Weiss UFA signing is easily one of the worst UFA contracts in NHL history. Never underestimate Mr Quick Fix Kenny Holland.

Is there an issue with the deal yeah sure there is but the idea of La shedding some prospects can't be denied
They have no room for any of them as we have seen and a couple of them will become busts just due to not getting playing time which sucks to see
A different deal would be better but you aren't gonna get anything by having these guys as healthy scratches</div></div>
valid point. i've just watched the canucks f*ck up their rebuild because of the bubble "playoffs" a few years ago. don't want to see the kings make that same mistake.

I think Nylander is good fit for LA. And it works for the Leafs to get futures, since the Leafs need cap space.
But I Nylander's trade value is that high...when no cap is returned to the Leafs.....not nearly that high. Maybe one of those prospects and third would be the upper limit.

Crazy idea with Tavares
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Drshnuckels91</b></div><div>Lmao I understand the point of this is that it's a hypothetical and fun and what not but I am more just confused on where did this tavares to Chicago narrative come from.
Like why Chicago they are not good and are rebuilding why would they want a regressing 11 million dollar player to pair with their already 2 regressing 11 million dollar players lmao</div></div>
Chicago's eating some cap and getting some value out of it. One of the few things ACGM doesn't illustrate well is 3-way-deals where one team is just eating some cap and getting a pick out of it (ie, the Robin Lehner trade)

Way too much for necas his value is a mid 1st + a 3rd maybe.
also hes not a center and rarely plays there. hes a winger unless injuries need him to step in
if he was my 1c id be very worried
