Nashville Predators signed Roman Josi (8 Years / $9,059,000 AAV)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hockeyfan1972</b></div><div>Great signing. Some have posted that serious declines for players happen in their late 20s early 30s which is true for most but Josi is a different case.
First off he plays a style that should not have him break down similar to some more physical player do.
He plays defense which tends to see players continue to play at higher levels until later in their careers.</div></div>
I mean, you say that...

It's kind of funny that he signed essentially a Subban contract...

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>toque</b></div><div>The fact Gudbranson gets traded twice within a year is proof any contract in the NHL is tradeable</div></div>
His contract length isn’t bad, so that’s why he was able to get moved. Lucic would be a better example.

Pittsburgh gets a pick and doesn't retain salary? Easily a win for Pittsburgh.

Where Is This All Going
Let me tell you with goalies that tandems are much better. As an Isles fan, we’ve had a really good one the past few seasons, and its really good to keep both goalies fresh, and in a good defensive systems especially, tandems are definitely going to win you more games.

Blues Young Guys
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Earfgang</b></div><div>I agree (No one is a bigger advocate for Kostin than me) but, I think giving him reps and ice time is more important to his development than anything. He is finally starting to get used to the western style of play and size of ice, now is when he needs reps, if he can get that in the NHL, GREAT. If he can't, keep him down for most of this year and bring him up late so he can at least a little bit of time when injuries come in to play.</div></div>
Firstly, thanks for responding. People always complain that forums are for longer conversations yet no one replies so thanks.
Second, I do agree it's very important to give him reps and he no doubt he'll get more down there. That being said, some players are better off playing at the higher level because their skills are more adapt to it and I think Kostin is one of those guys.

Remember when Blues traded Ben Bishop because they had Halal, Elliott, and Allen? Pepperidge Farm remembers...
Still a terrible trade to make even though we've had success since.

<strong>Age Requirement:</strong> You must be aged 13 or older to register on CapFriendly. If you are not 13 or older, <strong>do not create an account</strong>. Any accounts where the creator is determined to be under the age of 13 will be deleted.
<strong>Infraction System:</strong> CapFriendly utilizes an infraction system to moderate the forums. If you break the rules, or post something deemed unacceptable by the moderators, you may receive a warning or infraction. Each of these infractions are assigned a 'points' value. If you accumulate enough infraction points restrictions will automatically be put on your account until the infraction expires.
Your current infraction level places the following restrictions to your account:
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quote:</div>
Level 1 (2 Points) = No Posting in Armchair or Mock-draft Forums.
Level 2 (3 Points) = All Level 1 + No Posting polls, Editing Profile, Editing username, Editing Avatar, Editing Posts.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of inappropriate conduct:
<strong>Trolling</strong>:
-Posting a thread or reply to a thread that's sole purpose is to start an argument is not permitted on CapFriendly. <strong>This includes non-constructive replies to Armchair-GM threads such as "lol", "terrible" "not realistic". If you want to criticize an armchair-gm team, your post should focus on answering the question "why".</strong>. If you believe an armchair-gm team was posted to troll, simply do not reply to it and the moderators will remove it.
-Non-constructive posts include telling a person that a team laughs at their proposal. If you do not have anything constructive or polite to post, do not post. Examples include "ANA laughs at that offer", "If I were GM I'd hang up the phone on you", "We laugh you out of the room"
-Submitting a post that implies you have reported a post, such as "reported", or "I've reported this post", is against the rules and will receive an infraction point for trolling. Reporting users is encouraged, informing other users that you have done so is not.

-Personal attacks on users, groups of people, or fanbases are not permitted. Do not harass, threaten, mock, or insult others. Debates are encouraged, but ad hominem attacks are not (criticize the opinion, not the user).

-Posts and threads related to politics are not permitted.
