I think that the NJ trade is closer than it seems. Pacioretty is easily the best player in this trade and still only 28, which means he still has atleast four good years left as a 60-75 point guy which is a premium in this league. Henrique is 27 which doesn't make him that much younger that Pacioretty and based on his point totals last year and one in the past he probably is more of a 40-50 point guy. In order to begin to match up in value it was only fair to include one of New Jerseys prospects, who will likely be a middle six forward, nonetheless he is still a prospect. Lastly second round picks almost hardly amount to impact players so having two of the come Montreal's way is nothing more than a lottery ticket. I think that Henrique can put up a 50 point year while Quenneville could have a 25 point year. Overall this should not take away from Montreals offence but still allow a culture change and give them a top six center. In New Jersey they add another winger to stacked group of Hall, Palmari and Johannson. They also have a ton of center depth with Hischier, Zacha, Mcleod, all of which who could become real good players very soon.

As for the Vegas deal, it totally depends on the market. We`ve seen times when players values have been drastically reduced because the market doesn't help a trade scenario. I think that Neal wont resign and Vegas would take any deal that would give them a young prospect and decent pick plus they don't have any goalie prospects so Fucale makes sense and would have an opportunity for more starts in the AHL or NHL backup role.
