Effective immediately, I will be stepping down from my role as a General Manager in this league.

Thanks to everyone for a great season, and I would especially like to thank the BOG for their hard work and commitment. It was a really fun time, as this is a well-run and very planned out league.

Sadly, my time is taken up by school, sports, and my personal life, and I do not believe that I have time to start over again. I was barely able to keep this going as is, and I know that my life will only be getting more busy as I move on through my final years of high school, especially with finding a job soon.

Good luck to all, I hope to see you all around CF, and will continue to be apart of this awesome community of hockey fans. Thanks again,

NHL is holding theirs next Tues before the playoffs start.
For us it has no effect at all on the playoff teams as their positions will be determined by how they fare in the playoffs.

Plus with RFA extensions happening prior to the lottery that also could have an affect on what teams do.

It's likely no one else in game agrees with this idea anyway but sharing is caring.

We could move it up - I spaced things out on the schedule in an effort to keep interest in the game during the offseason when it can get a little boring, but after the standings are finalized, we can do the lotto anytime. Maybe we could do it Wednesday the 10th?

I think you're just going to have to trust me that I'm an unbiased operator. Or if you're legitimately concerned, I will announce the time that I'm doing the lotto and you can hop onto the scoring sheet to watch how it works (I plan on typing out the process as I go so anyone can follow along... if that's not enough, I could DM you my address and you could come down to STL - I'll slice up some bagels for ya!

I'd vote negative points if Frost or Bracco were on a team because in the playoffs I'd rather have a Maroon or Laughton level player over Frost at this point in his career.

This is exactly what I'm worried about in the playoffs. Guys with zero NHL track record or success swaying votes because they were hyped or because they are simply "young" .. as a flyers fan I personally wouldn't give them a bump with adding Frost just because what I've seen against NHL competition hasn't been that good. He's still a project.
