I would for sure take Drai over RNH but I don't think EDM would move him.

I would be fine writing Nurse with it. Then I just wouldn't sign Streit.

No Toronto probably doesn't want Seabrook but they would want a younger similar style player.

I really don't like signing Shattenkirk. He is too expensive for what he does.

there you go
When i look at the Habs what I see is poor defensive players outside of a couple. That seems to be the reason they have to rely on Price so much. If they were ever to get some really solid 2 way players, who knows, maybe they could move price for an elite scorer.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bdinella</b></div><div><i>I am okay with this, however preferably don't want to trade any D prospects Would rather overpay for Shattenkirk in the offseason because we definitely still would need a top RHD
Also, a lot of wash fans seem to be down on Kuznetsov-what do you think maybe Rubstov, Laughton and a pick for. We really need to get an offensive C for the 2nd line with Simmons and TK. Moving Couts to a shutdown role on 3C</i></div></div>
I would be perfectly fine getting Kuznetsov but i don't think Washington is stupid enough to move him, fans on the other hand...
As for the Flyers D prospects...we have so many it's insane! If we can get Provorov, Morin and Phil Myers into the lineup we should be really solid for a long time. Even when Tyler Myers is due another contract we should have no problem affording him for probably around the same pay he gets now. So that would give us 2-4 shut down D, 2-3 offensive D (Provorov is both) so we should be all set.

If this team can get a legit goalie in the next couple years they could be pretty solid.

Dallas doesn't make that move...that doesn't help them at all for a run. You are giving up way to much for the elderly, shells of their former selves the Sedins.

I think that kind of player is exactly what Toronto needs, just not sure one that is signed until they are like 40 is a smart idea.

Armchair GM - Ratings and comments
I would really like to see it where if someone rates a team they MUST comment! If someone rates a team, there must be a reason why so force them to comment! There are to many people who just go around rating 1 star and can do so anonymously. These people are trolls and need to be weeded out.

MDZ will get paid more than that. More likely in the $4 per range.

Taking advantage of our Cap room
This makes no sense for the leafs. Trading 2 staples who are better than they get credit for for more prospects that the leafs don't really need. The leafs have the offense and now need to focus on D. The leafs can even start trading picks now for solid d-men.

If MDZ doesn't sign for $3.5 per we need to let him walk! He is a defensive liability and usually only plays about 60 games a year due to injuries.

Duchene is on the block.. Sakic said so.. Avs are getting a future 1st line C in Bennett (drafted 4th).. 2017 draft is really REALLY weak, did you know that Nolan Patrick (consensus 1st overall) is only projected as a 2nd line C? Avs are also getting two picks plus a good prospect (former first rounder)</i></div></div>
Bennett hasn't looked like he has the potential to be a 1C, just because you get drafted high, doesn't mean you will turn out to be really good...

makes sense all around strenghthening all teams involved
First of all Crawford is not that good. Every "good" goalie that plays for the Hawks is a product of good defence. Hamilton is better than anything coming back and widemans contract is up after this year. So basically all Calgary is getting is prospects for a proven top 2-4 D man. Calgary just keeps going backwards with that trade.
