next season after vegas trade
this is interesting, I feel like vegas is more likely to move reilly smith or dadanov because of there cap hits, stephenson has a cheap deal that they probably want to keep so I think its more realistic if we got Reilly smith but wouldn't be upset if we did this trade, I don't see edmonton doing that trade Skinner is like the only young goalie they have. If we can even have someone even take Hajek for like a 7th round pick I will be happy, I think Gauthier would probably fetch like a 4th or a 5th.

Because the only reason miller has a crap ton of value is because he has another year on his deal that is affordable to a lot of teams, It honestly isn't a good deal for the rangers because you could get a better player for NIls and Kravtsov, Like pavelski or hertl, that might be there asking price but its not his actual value if where being honest here.

Rebuild hopefully complete
Yeah no shot the rangers make that deal, also I don't think anyone will take gallagher with his bad contract and the term, Petry honestly you could get something decent but I don't think you'll be able to convince Steve Yzerman to take Peatry when Detriot is still atleast 1-2 years away from making the playoffs. Armia makes sense I like that trade, I think if you can even have some take david savard you will be lucky, let alone a 1st round pick. I could see people being interested in hoffman but I think the return well be more around 4th or 5th round (you may also have to retain salary)
These are just my thoughts.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>nhn1405</b></div><div>fair enough on NJD. I think they would potentially consider it because boeser is a more well rounded player and more of a sure thing
the miller deal is the one that's been reported on by the athletic, and by both rangers and Canucks reporters. seems to be the price for him
Rangers reportedly offered it with retention on miller to vancouver and they rejected it</div></div>
I have seen the reports to, But I don't know what to believe honestly, Larry brooks came out with an article a month ago about how the rangers have shown intrest in Patrick kane so I don't really trust the reporters. I think the Rangers really want either Hertl or Pavelski, I think they can get them for a lesser price and in all honesty there are both better than miller, plus miller does not fit there time line, if we get miller we are basically saying goodbye to strome in the offseason and than a year later miller will take minum no less than 7.5 mil AAV and thats the year we have to pay laf and some other guys so as a rangers fan the trade does not really make sense to me.

There is no way New Jersey does that deal in my opinion, Also that is a huge overpay for miller, I think its one or the other and than a first round pick honestly, Also I personally don't see the miller trade being done at all, Why would Miller want to go back to the rangers where the labeled him as immature and a cancer? The guys who called him that are still here basically (besides the coaches) I don't think miller would want to come back.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SlevinKalevra</b></div><div>Probably a bit of an over pay for Pavs. The first and Krav prolly gets it done</div></div>
I thought so initially but the entire league is going to be after pavelski, he is the number one rental, so I think the rangers will have to overpay.

I think thats a bit much you could make an arguement for kravtsov if montreal added like a 2nd or a 3rd but besides that I think that is a huge overpay.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Josh</b></div><div>Gotta keep Cuylle.
And I don’t move Robertson for Lehkonen</div></div>
I could understand why people would not want to move on from Cuylle this quickly but If we want to get pavelski I think we are going to have to overpay a little bit and I think Cuylle is the piece that seals the deal in my opinion, I think Cuylle as definitely taken a step this year and he can score goals which is something dallas lacks. For Kravtsov, lets be honest here it's very unlikely that he ever plays for the rangers again so I think he is definitely gone and he would be the main piece in this deal. I also considered putting Brett Berard in the deal over Cuylle he has scored 9 points in 10 games from Providence in the NCAA, He can score goals and is also a good playmaker.

Why not? I personally think It does make sense, Montreal Needs any kind of help and I think Robertson has bottom 4 upside and I think that it is appropriate caliber of prospect that the Canadiens would want. Also with gauthier I think the canadiens need more young upside players on there roster, they need more players that have upside and Gauthier I think could benefit by getting top six minutes in a place like Montreal Were there new head coach is going to basically let them have free roam in the offensive zone. Also Montreal is about to enter a rebuild, so getting young talent in the lineup should be essiential to them, That was my logic for the selections, Im curious to hear why you don't like them.
