Not enough for Phil. Alex looks like he's on his way to becoming a bust, and the Pens don't really need Sheary back.

Pittsburgh Penguins signed Kasper Björkqvist (2 Years / $925,000 AAV)

There's always the possibility that he does. I'd bet that he probably starts the season with Wilkes-Barrie-Scranton, but I can see Bjorkqvist being a call up guy.

Well, there's still a long offseason ahead of us. Maybe we'll see Bjorkvist or Pavlychev signed in the future?

Palve had more points than Kaako did this past season. I'd hardly say that Kaako carried Palve because of that.

While he did not play for the Finnish national team, I'm really liking this move by GMJR. I'm now officially going to say "Oulala" when Palve scores a goal.

Oula Palve is a Finnish centre who played for TPS in Liiga this past season. He scored 16 goals and 35 assists for 51 points in 53 games played, finishing (No pun intended) as the team's top scorer.

He put up very good numbers in Liiga this past season. I think he'll be a good depth piece that could get a shot higher in the line up.

Problem with Zaitsev is that he's in the same division as Ottawa. Now, I know interdivisional trades have become more common, but Ottawa would likely look elsewhere first, then turn to Toronto.

Too much passivity. They need some mean players. You can;t respond after a player is taken out. You have to be willing to be nasty before hand so people know there is a price to pay. He wasn't.
It's the way the game is unfortunately.</div></div>
Yeah, that's a rather unfortunate thing. The problem I have with Gudbranson is his CORSI is awful.

I actually liked Oleksiak before he was traded to Pittsburgh because of his massive size. Its just a shame the Penguins had to get rid of him.
