Description
Burakovsky has seven points in his last 12 games, playing with Lars Eller and Brett Connolly. He started slow, but he's back. It would take an overpayment.

Puljujarvi has 9 points this season, as a third-year NHLer. His career totals of 17 goals and 37 points are pretty close to Burakovsky's single season best of 17 goals and 35 points.

DSP is better than Chiasson, by a lot.

Edmonton and Washington make great trade partners because the Caps have so much wing depth and the Oilers have so little, but have great centers who can get value out of wings who just don't show much in Washington's bottom six.

No problem with that. If Smith-Pelly is not the right fit in Edmonton, he can stay in a checking role with the Caps as long as he wants.

Do you think Burakovsky and Walker are enough to fix Edmonton's top nine forwards?

Or would you throw in someone else for Smith-Pelly, like Mantha, or Khaira?

I think he's a beast, and just underutilized, but if you see him as a cap dump, definitely, no need to take him for Washington.
