No way Winnipeg can afford Stone with Trouba resigning? Stone $8.5 or $9 million per same with Laine Connor $7 million per Trouba $7.5 million or $8 million per. No way Trouba signs for $6.2 million per when he wants at least $7.5 million per or higher. You're already over the cap by $3 million.

in any deal with OTT i think Connor will be involved for this reason, they cannot keep Laine, Connor, Stone and Trouba/Myers, they have plenty of LW depth so its why i think Connors will be involved and they have Vesa coming soon too. ( connor in deal, Vesa out IMO would happen)

If Trouba is dealt at the draft, And that's a likely scenario plus Myers walks. Then yeah i can see Stone signing with hometown Winnipeg. He could take a discount to play there. Just like Trouba could in hometown Detroit if he goes there in free agency.
