Doubt the blues trade all of their D prospects + Eddy for hanifin. If we’re going for a LD we need to get a legit top pairing guy

Why is everyone always hatin' on Hanifin? He would easily be our top LD and is barely 22; he's only going to get better. Remember your comment 2 years from now when Hanifin is easily a top pairing guy (at a very cap friendly contract). And if our top 4 is Petro, Hanifin, Parayko and Dunn then who needs D prospects???

Hanifin is fine, but you're trading our defensive prospects not named Mikkola. Perunivich is going to be a good puck, Edmundson is a top 4 guy already, Reinke has shown promise as a good puck mover as well. This trade guts the Blues system entirely. I get that Hanifin is a good young talent. He might peak as a top 4 or top 2. You don't know. We shouldnt trade Edmundson at all at this point.
As far as that Carolina, it instantly becomes horrible when throwing in Husso on top of Blais
