    Leafs say no as they can't afford to pay Trouba after this year. Also, you would not have to give up a 2nd for McQuaid, that is an overpayment.

    Also, why trade Bracco for a couple months of Ferland. The Leafs have to keep skilled entry level contracts for the next few years.
