From 2013 to 2018 the Pens selected once in the first round. That was Kappanen in 2014 who was traded in the Kessel trade. Its crazy how good they have been over the years because of Crosby and Malkin.

I'm surprised they still have their 2019 pick, but there is still time before Monday.

Hahaha it is absolutely insane. Very dangerous as well.. It's funny because I was at work when Kapanen was picked so the last actual 1st rounder I remember them drafting was Derrick Pouliot back in 2012 with that Jordan Staal trade..
