After trading for Duchene, no way they trade Bob and only get Reimer. They are going for it and Reimer is a backup.

I like the thought process above, but agree that they would be too weak in goal to make a deep playoff run.
Unless there is another deal in the works for another goaltender, say Johnny Quick?

Yea, but now they can't afford Quicks cap hit. They need a big salary going out even if they reduce their roster to 23. They are $800k over right now. Would anyone take Dubinsky?

No, we would have to pay to unload Dubinsky. The only other option now that Duchene is on board would be to trade Wennburg. Not many would probably be interested at just under $5M and only 2 goals so far this year.
