Though I'm slightly disappointed that they couldn't get another RHD when you look at how they could possibly line up by the playoffs this roster is not really that bad. Though we lack a true RHD top pair dman there really isn't a massive hole on the roster. I'm thinking Johnsson and Kap are on Matthews line til they prove not up to the task, the Tavares line stays the same, Kadri line stays the same and the other 3 positions are really using the rest of the depth to put the best players to fill in where and when needed seeing it will be 3 lines Babs will probably run for the playoffs like most teams do unless it's a blow out either way. Reilly will stay with Hainsey it might not be ideal but I think they may lessen hainsey's workload for the next 20 games just to rest him up for the playoffs. Muzzin and Dermott have been playing great together and could be a very formitable physical pair. Gardiner being more or less a PP QB role and minimizing his D zone starts more will make him and Zaitsev a solid Pair. I could see them bringing up Rosen, Moore, and even Borgman for the playoffs with skill wise are not bad and are as good as some of the players teams threw 1st /2nd round picks to rent for the rest of the season. When you look at how the match up against the Bruins, TB, MTL, WSH, NYI, and the rest of the east this team is a solid team that most of those teams are going to be running 4-6 forwards and 2-4 dman against the leafs just due to how fast and skilled this team is. As long as we play our game it should be fun few months in leafland.
