Projected look at how I expect the Rangers to look like next year.

Offense:
With the signing of Panarin, I believe we'll give Chytil his chance to play on a truly elite line and see how the best of the best play in the NHL. This also bumps Kreider down to the second line where I project him to play with Kravtsov on the wing and I threw Andersson between them so he can have a chance to play on a skilled line with big bodies. If he doesn't produce, he can also be swapped with Howden. Same applies with Buchnevich and Chytil.

Defense:
Someone of Shattenkirk, Staal, and/or Smith will have to go. I wish we could re-sign Claesson but there's just too big of a logjam on defense. Especially considering I expect Hajek and Lindgren to be full-time NHLers next season. Even Pionk's re-signing is a question mark to be honest. I also don't expect us to go after Karlsson for this very reason.

Goalies:
I fully expect Shestyorkin to play his first North American season in the AHL. In a perfect world, we'd play him and Georgiev as a 1-2 goalie tandem. And that's not a knock to Hank. I love him to death but with how our goaltender prospects look, it would be ideal to give them as many games to see what we have in them.
