The Oilers prospect pool is so underrated. We take all this crap about how they can't draft and develop players, but their drafting actually improved under Chiarelli. Pulju is the only bust in the past few years, and even he has hope.

Samorukov, Jones, and Bear all have legit chances at becoming top-4 Dmen. Bouchard could become Jon Carlson. Persson and Lagesson also provide interesting skill sets. Shane Starret is leading the AHL in GAA. Benson and Marody are 3rd an 4th in rookie scoring in the AHL as well. Yams is improving, Maksimov a high ceiling. This team actually has a bright future.

Agreed. The condors, led by the rookies, benson and Marody, went on a 17 game winning streak. It’ll be interesting to see what they can do with Samurukov, McLeod, Bouchard, and Maksimov joining the team next season
