I stated that months ago. The sad reality is probably 3-4.
But in two years most of the forwards contracts end and they can have whole team turn over. But that doesn't mean it will get any better.
They need to hope the players they draft pan out for it to improve. If that doesn't happen, McDavid's career is wasted. Because you can't fix this mess through Free agency alone.

If ED can sign Dzingle, the process will be underway!
Drafts need improved development, true!
