Description
Important draft notes: 3rd overall- Dylan Cozens
43rd overall- Thomas Harley

Usually I call up boqvist but I thought 1 more year In the minors can’t hurt him

Sign panarin
1. Help us get into playoffs
2. Plays better with Patrick Kane
3. Help out power play
4. We can afford him
5. Stan Bowman wants him
6.panarin wants Chicago
7. Good chemistry between Kane and panarin and Kane and toews, then you got strome and debrincats good chemistry on 2nd line

Trade anisimov who has a kinda bad contract Dillon only has 1 year sharks could be losing a lot of key players so they can use and afford anisimov, Dillon helpful to improve Blackhawks bottom pair

Overpay vet player to play with cozens for a year and help out the bottoms 6
Trade knott because I don’t like him?

Trade useless John hayden

I Like the idea of Dillon, he is underrated because of his limited exposure in SJ. It will probably take more than just Anisimov to get him.

If SJ is able to re-sign Karlsson they might be "more" interested in moving Dillon for a forward. Maybe scrap the Pitt trade, send Hayden to SJ and a B/C type prospect?

Dillon can be a nice piece to improve the d and not have to rush Boqvist or Beaudin. Furthermore he could be a TDL move if we are on the wrong side of the standings.

You make very good points but he’s playing 3rd d line and penalty kill you gotta see the role he’ll play and I don’t think Chicago will give up anisimov who’s a 2nd line forward (just not for the Blackhawks) and more for Dillon, he helps up out a lot tho on out bottom pairs and yes he’s a bit underrated and we won’t have to rush anyone, if I put in Hayden I want Dillon and a 5th instead of 6th. Also I would like your opinion on the over pay for pomminville and bringing panarin back

Im not sure about Pommonville.. or any other Vet for that matter. Is there any free agent that can provide more leadership than they Vets that are already here?

I would like to give Sikura more of a chance. He didn't look that impressive this past year but it is a small sample size. He was a late round pick and if he can turn into an everyday NHLer it is found money. if he doesn't work out, there are other young guys waiting to get an opportunity. I think we need to give some of the young guys a chance so we can find out what we have. Find out what some of our young forwards are, then if we need to move a D prospect for a forward we know our strengths/ weaknesses.

On the other hand.. This years Playoffs show more than ever that all you need to do is get in the and you never know what can happen. A Vet player maybe gives you a better chance, but it comes at the cost of blocking the young forward.

I agree very well said bud, and no I don’t think pominville is a better leader than the guys on here already ( toews, Kane, keith, seabrook, Crawford) but at least bottoms 6 gets to play with one instead of watching. And yes just get in and you never know, this year playoffs have been weird weird though ?. Oh and I don’t like sikura just I don’t see anything from him, small, can’t score, can’t get to scoring chances, and is already 23. There’s a reason he was picked low in the draft.
