Description
Bargain Bob is at it again. He signs a RHD for cheap and brings up Steel, Jones, Terry, and Larsson to start the season.

With a new coach and probably a new system in place this team will have a different look. As long as they can take care of playing defense in front of Gibson this is a playoff team and Gibson can carry them there. Couple things is staying healthy and not over playing Gibson and also the team buying into the coaches system.

This team has a bright future ahead and should be back in the playoffs again.

Wait. Jake Dotchin spends the majority of the season in the minors, is barely effective in the 20 games he did get in with the Ducks, gets re-signed AND gets a raise? I would be very surprised if he gets a QO. If anything maybe Murray signed him to a two-way deal if he feels he was a good d-man for the Gulls. But he shouldn't be on the Ducks next year, let alone with a 50% raise.

And the days of Getzlaf and Perry together are long over. If the new coach is shoehorning Perry into the top line then we're not a playoff team. Just because we're stuck with him doesn't mean we have to give him top line minutes.

This coming from a guy who said RC wasn't the problem. I'll be taking your opinion with a grain of salt.

What justification is there for retaining Jake Dotchin, let alone giving him a raise? It's not like he's a prospect we've been developing. We picked him up off the street after Tampa tore up his contract because he was too fat. Then he got bumped on the depth chart by Megna, Holzer and Welinski. Even if he were retained, he'd still be behind Larsson and Mahura. Stop me when I'm when wrong.
