Nemeth is gone....you don't spend 3.4m on a 7th Dman. Graves for 900k will do what Nemeth will o not act blue line...be a healthy scratch with that 6 healthy playing every day.
Not a big Nelson fan, but sure why not...feels like 6m can be spent on a better player. And heck no to Chiasson

have you watched Nemeth this year? Him and Cole run our PK like no other... and if Graves can do what nemeth does why havent we seen him in 2 months??? cmon man .....

Because Graves is 23 and has only played in 26 NHL games. Bednar's gonna play the guys that have been around longer, he wants experience right now. Makar's different because he's effectively the second coming of Erik Karlsson.

Avs have 6 D already; Girard, EJ, Makar, Cole, Zadorov, Barrie.. why would they spend 3.4million on a guy to be #7?? Also dont ignore the fact that Nemeth isnt worth 3.4 million.
