Description
If rumours are true, Karlsson would be OK with term and a solid contract. Ideally one of those numbers could be lower.

Petry at $4.3M answers a lot of issues for Toronto for the next few years for just a little more than what they'd have to pay Kapanen.

Fleury is the odd man out in Carolina and Armia gives BrindAmour a versatile winger. Habs give up the #15 pick this year for two lower picks.

Panthers get Reimer off the books and Habs add another "lottery ticket" for the 2020 draft.

IDK how realistic your trades are, but I love your idea of guetting "lottery tikets" for the 2020 draft.
Lafreniere, Byfield, Holtz, Raymond, Lundell, Rossi, Perfett, drysdale (and wayyy more) that draft looks insane

You're right about it being a good draft and the Habs are reasonably stocked right now. being less active in 2019 in order to get a few more picks in 2020 and 2021 makes sense.

I hope my trades are decent in the value department for each of the clubs. Obviously, we have no idea whether Dubas likes Petry or would prefer to try for someone else. Fleury seems lost in Raleigh and I think he'd be a good guy for Montreal's third pairing. Besides, I am a sucker for brother acts.

FLA will move Reimer and that's a reasonable ask to give them signing room for Bobrovski and Panarin.

I really like the Petry move... even if its to a direct rival!
For Fleury... you don't need to give away your 1st as I think Armia have a little higher value right now= Young affortable can play top line if needed could turn easily a +/- 40pts guy.
Fleury +5th for Armia+2nd (just because of the age difference we give more from MTL)
Why would FLA give away their 1st... as they know how deep next year draft would be... Hubby on the Block... why not Drouin + 2020 1st for Huberdeau?
and please No Shaw on top line,... GREAT 3rd LINE GUY who could help once in a while in your top 6. insert Kappy instead.
