Description
Signings:
Chevy bets on Laine long term giving him a term and money - a gamble that can make or break an organization but the Jets need to prove that they believe is the youth to squash rumors.

Connor gets a contract slightly over Pasta and Nylander but under breadman money; I believe Connor is a huge part of the jets, comparable to elite wingers, and has room to grow yet. Chevy doesn’t force the 7 or 8 year term and agree to fair contract.

Chiarot is a stud; signed to a fair deal to the team the drafted him late and gave him the time he needed to develope.

Hang on to Kuli for one more year as he is a competent (albeit expensive) 7th Dman but Niku and Poolman are given the nod to start the season due to a strong camp. If either fails Kuli steps in.

Vesalainen, Appeleton, Lindholm, Nieto, and Spacek all battle for fourth line roles. Vesa, Rosy, and Copp get a few looks in the top 6 this year when guys go down to gauge future value.

Trades:
Trouba for Trocheck trade works if Florida is serious about brining in Malkin. Having Troch playing 3rd line C would be a criminal waste of skill. They could keep him on the RW but they have some others that can fill that gap. Perrerualt is a capable forward but a lets be real he is a dump at this point in his carrer. The 1st bridges the value gap and allows the jets to receive a no longer needed Pysyk.

The Little trade im not to sure on; im assuming Duchene and Hayes sign else where and with Colorado looking for a C, Little could provide them with veteran leadership and 50pt skills. Nieto provide some low risk depth to the Jets.

Winnipeg would NOT be giving up a 1st in the Florida trade...I would say at least a 2nd rounder would be coming back to Winnipeg especially if he signs an extension.

im not sure about that; if you look at the Stone trade Ottowa got a A and C prospect wit a 2nd round pick in a sign and trade. Troch has alot of value with the contract he is on. I still see a pick having to go Floridas way is we are sending Perrault as well
