What an actual Zaitsev trade would look like

Hell no lmao People would be surprised how much they would get for Zaitsev. I said few months ago.. there would be teams that would want him and they are gonna get him. I believe teams value him positively because that 5yr term on his contract we thought is liability is positive thing and cost certainty for GMs. Which is.. stupid.. but thats NHL folks

Let me clear my thoughts.. I dont think he is good as good (he is a player that has tools to be good but he isnt) and I dont believe he has high trade value and based on information I received from multiple people I was wrong and he has higher value than firstly expected due to various reasons: 1) he personally asked for a trade and Leafs did not want to trade him (which is nice trick lol), 2) teams see him as top-4 Dman because he was good shutting down Bruins top line with Muzzin, 3) his term is positive for them because it gives them cost certainty for 5yrs and with new contracts such as Lindell it makes sense for them to have him at 4.5 for next 5yrs lol. We will see what happens and what the return would be but I would not be shocked if it was higher than expected. We will see.
