Bridge is good theory for management, but if those players prefer long term security, an offer sheet beckons. I wouldn't short change Carlo and McAvoy just to sign Johnasson and Pavelski. Maybe you sign one of those UFAs.

You know Pavelski is only making $6Mil right now....and now that hes 34 you wanna give him a 3 year contract that locks him until hes 37 at $7.5???? Yeah, he had a great year, but thats an insane contract to give at his age. Id get rid of him completely and pay Carlo/McAvoy or even more to Johannson to lock him down in Boston
