It’s becoming increasingly less likely Breadman signs here. I’m a little bummed but honestly it leaves us with a much manageable cap decision...

Thoughts Behind each move:

Buffalo apparently wants Vesey and needs secondary scoring and the rangers could use another young defense-sound dman. Also can’t see where Lindgren fits inthe org right now, too good for the AHL but no room on the big club. Included him to even any lack of value, being that Vesey could be a pure rental.

Toronto needs puck moving RD. Shatty hasn’t worked out here and probably isn’t the best available option for the Leafs but they can get him for a fair price and a measly return.

Namestnikov thrives when out with superstars (ie Kuch and Stammer). He could really blossom on a line with McDavid and Draisaital. Pulju needs a change of scenery and no matter how much potential he has, his trade value is rather low. Seems like a fair deal to me.

Rangers get the better player Kovy to mentor young players (especially the Russians) and the Kimgs Dave some money. This allows Kovy to be in a much more competitive situation for the next two years. The Kings will be tanking for Lafreniere while the Rangers will probably be pushing for a wild card spot. And there was rumored mutual interest before he signed in LA.
