I wanted to move out one of the bottom pair defenseman like Hamhuis or Irwin but I didn't think of a team who would be willing to take one a human traffic cone. I also wanted to give Nashville a shot as Gusev but I cant see that happening unless they move a forward out and if they did it would be Granlund or Smith

It's very likely Nashville is getting Duchene, but not at 7,4M, that's almost what Hayes got. Even with their state tax situation, I would be surprised to see him sign for much less than 9M

I think it's low but with the cap not being as much, the state tax situation and just how much Duchene loves Nashville I could see him signing for less than what people think.
